A couple of years ago, I saw a documentary about marine diatoms, microscopic creatures that live in water. I was captivated by their simple beauty and they were the inspiration for this bead.
Owning this bead means you will own something unique. It's possible that I may make another bead of a similar size in similar colours but the chances of me ever recreating an exact duplicate are so remote as to be pretty much impossible!

I am a self-representing lampwork bead artist working in a small workshop at my home in Chorley, Lancashire. I take great pride in my work and am always flattered when someone values my pieces highly enough to wish to use them in their own work! My beads are hand cleaned and annealed for strength and durability in a digitally controlled kiln. Please remember, however, that as with all glass items, they may break or chip if handled roughly or carelessly. Therefore, pretty and shiny as they are, my beads are not suitable for young children or for pieces that will experience a lot of wear and tear! |

I keep my postage and packaging prices as low as possible by recycling packaging wherever possible. However, I do still have to use sticky tape and travel to a Post Office! |
